I am enquiring if a named individual was removed from the register between 1967 and 1980. I believe they were a music teacher in a named location and possibly in the Glasgow area.
Response
I refer to your request for information dated 7 July 2024 (FOI 24 - 25/17) in which you asked if a named individual was removed from the register between 1967 and 1980.
Please note that sharing the personal data of a named individual under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act (FOISA) would breach the data protection principles set out in data protection legislation. As such, we are unable to provide it and this information is exempt under section 38(1)(b) of FOISA.
However, by way of advice and assistance under section 15 of FOISA, I can advise you that the Search the Register functionality available on our website reflects all those currently registered with GTC Scotland and allows for you to refine your search to consider sex and sector where possible.
