Please could you provide a list of all the schools that a named individual has taught at. Please could you provide start and end dates.

Please could you tell me if the second named individual was ever a pupil at any of the schools that the first named individual taught at.

I refer to your request for information dated 7 July 2024 (FOI 24 - 25/ 18) in which you asked for information regarding various named individuals under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act (FOISA).

Firstly, you asked for “a list of all the schools” that the named individual had taught at to include the “start and end dates.” Please note that Registrants have access to their teacher record to update their personal data including employer information. Employment data held by us is provided directly by Registrants and is self-declared. It is at the discretion of the individual whether they notify GTC Scotland as to their employment.  With regards to their prior employment, we do not hold records on previous schools they have taught at and have therefore applied section 17(1)(b) to this query.

Secondly, you asked if another named individual was “ever a pupil at any of the schools the named individual taught at” as part of your response. Please note that we do not hold records on which schools a Registrant attended as a pupil and ,therefore, I have applied section 17(1)(b) to this query as we do not hold this information.
