Could you let me know the number of teachers who have earned GTCS registration in Classical Studies in each year since 2016?

Response

I refer to your request for information dated 18 November 2024 (FOI 24-25/69) in which you asked how many teachers "have earned GTCS registration in Classical Studies in each year since 2016” which we have handled under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act.

I have provided the information requested in Table 1 within this response as data extracted on 3 December 2024. Please note that references to “Classical Studies” includes the registration category of “Classics” in the table below. Additionally, the figures are based on the calendar year in which provisional registration was obtained in the registration category.
