When you can expect to hear if your direct submission has been successful
A panel of GTC Scotland officers meets quarterly to assess a proportion of Direct Submissions, chosen at random, for quality assurance purposes. Your submission may be chosen for assessment, and any assessed submissions which do not meet the requirements will be returned for resubmission. Unless we contact you about this, you can consider your PU confirmed for the current five-year cycle at the point of your Direct Submission.
It is your responsibility to ensure that a Direct Submission sufficiently demonstrates your continued teacher professionalism in line with the Professional Standards.
