Connecting with the Standard for Middle Leadership

GTC Scotland held the first virtual event to celebrate the Standard for Middle Leadership on 20 November 2023.
The Standard for Middle Leadership is an aspirational Professional Standard, and provides a developmental framework for teachers in or considering leadership roles.
At the event, Kevin Brack, Lecturer in Educational Leadership and the Programme Director for the MEd Leadership and Learning programme at the University of Edinburgh, spoke on 'The growing importance of middle leaders at a time of educational reform.'
