The results of the 2023-2024 GTC Scotland Council election are now available.
The following candidates have been elected to the Council and will take up office on 2 April 2024. Thank you to all who stood for election, and those who voted, in the council election. Thanks also to all of our outgoing Council members for their valued contribution to our work.
GTC Scotland is governed by a Council of 37 members, the majority of whom (19) are elected teachers.
Council members have a significant role in shaping the teaching profession of Scotland, maintaining and improving Professional Standards and contributing to the development of teacher professionalism and Scottish education.
