Higher Education institution course appeals

If you are going through an appeals process with your Higher Education Institution (HEI), this will delay your pass details being sent to GTC Scotland. If this is the case, it is unlikely that you will be in a position to start the Teacher Induction Scheme (TIS) at the start of the academic session.

It is very important that you ask your HEI to let GTC Scotland know that you are not going to be able to start TIS in this academic session. Your registration will be deferred to the next academic session. If your appeal is successful, you pass your course and receive Provisional Registration with GTC Scotland, you will be able to undertake supply work following payment of the registration administration fee.
